Board of Directors Meeting

The next Open Session Board Meeting is scheduled for December 7, 2016 beginning at 6:30pm.  Management and the Chaumiere Board would like to invite all homeowners to come and introduce themselves during the Open Session meeting.  The Executive Session will commence at 6:00pm.  Executive Session is for Board members only.

Document/Paper Shredding Event- November 5, 2016

The Chaumiere Board of Directors have approved a contract with a waste management brokerage company, Global Disposal, that is not only saving the association money, but also offers some great benefits and services to the community as well.  Global Disposal has coordinated a Document/Paper Shredding Event for the Chaumiere Homeowner Association:

Date: This upcoming Saturday, November 5th, 2016

Time: 9:00am-10:00am

Location: The cul-de-sac on the Pasadero side of the community where there is a closed gate to Pomerado.

How to Participate:

A shredding truck will be located in the cul-de-sac on the Pasadero side of the community where there is a closed gate to Pomerado. Please bring any documents you wish to have shredded and Global Disposal will take care of the rest!

Vehicle, Parking and Towing Rules and Regulations

Notice the new section about towing enforcement in the recently approved Vehicle, Parking, and Towing Rules and Regulations.

Vehicles will be subject to immediate tow without notice at the owner’s expense:

  • Parked in fire lanes
  • Unidentified vehicles parked in guest parking for a period of 72 hours or longer
  • Unattended vehicles cross-parked on driveways, sidewalks, or lawns

Please be reminded that as an owner, you are obligated to review these rules and adhere to them to ensure you remain in compliance with your association.  You are also obligated to share the Vehicle, Parking and Towing Rules and Regulations with your tenant and any guests that visit your home.

Vehicle Registration Form REQUIRED by November 20, 2016

Management requires ALL owners’ vehicles to be registered with Chaumiere. Unidentified vehicles will be considered guests’ vehicles and will be subject to the new parking and towing rules.  A copy of this form will be included in the mailer homeowners receive regarding the new Vehicle, Parking and Towing Rules and Regulations.

Management requires ALL owners to complete this form and mail it into management before NOVEMBER 20, 2016

The Vehicle Registration Form can also be found on VIVO Homeowner Portal in the Forms folder titled “Vehicle Registration Form.”

Please be reminded that as an owner, you are obligated to register your tenants’ vehicles with the association.

A copy of this Vehicle Registration Form is attached at the end of this newsletter.

Open Parking Permits will EXPIRE on November 20, 2016

Owners who currently have Open Parking Permits (OPPs) must reapply for new Open Parking Permits.  Please contact management at before NOVEMBER 20, 2016 to request the necessary renewal form.

Proper Trash Receptacles

Management has been informed that some owners using their own personally purchased trash bins have received notices informing them that that they need proper trash bins.  All homeowners within Chaumiere must use the trash and recycle receptacles issued by the service provider, Waste Management.  Trash and recycle receptacles that are not issued by Waste Management may not be collected.

If you require new trash &/or recycle receptacles because you do not currently have the properly issued bins, or yours have been lost and or damaged, please contact your community manager at and replacement bins can be arranged.

San Diego Water Restrictions and Chaumiere

San Diego County allows for the watering of landscapes within condominium developments three times a week; Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  For more information, visit and select City of San Diego from the table on the website.

The Chaumiere Board of Directors would like this opportunity to encourage homeowners to begin to water according to this new schedule, and work towards the revitalization of the Chaumiere Association and all of the homes and landscapes within.  Adhering to the new watering schedule will allow homeowners the chance to begin to revive their yards, further enhancing the curb appeal of their individual home, and contributing to the overall appearance and value of the association.

The Board would like to remind homeowners that properly maintaining the integrity of your yard is to be in compliance of Chaumiere’s CC&R’s.  Please observe the watering schedule set forth by San Diego County and help revive your yards every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
